Can I ask that if the cliff material is procedural or texture map?

I have 5 cliff materials with different charasteristics. Some have texture map some are 100% procedural. The material in this render is 100% procedural.

I like the cliff material a lot. I think this is a good picture to show it off. But maybe another render with more of the material and less trees?

Global Ambiance is an awesome choice, quicker than Global Illumination and Radiosity. But given a little tweaking, you can make Global Radiosity work for ya.

But that material... it's one of the best I've seen so far. :)

Not too crazy about the surrounding hills but the main focus of the image which are the cliffs look great :D

Haha, I like what you said about Global Radiosity - it triples render times :dead: I use it only when absolutely necessary too. I think many just like to abuse it because it's better for everything even if it's not very necessary (like at last sunset when everything's dark anyway) Even in large scale daytime scenes you can fake it with some shadow-less other directional lights in a weaker colours sometimes
