The rock is smartly framed!!
I would just add some sand details just below the walking camels.

Very good. The grand sense of a monumental rock is good. with the shadows of the caravan possible stretch that to give a better feeling of a shadow as the shadow is more like a reflection than a shade. Either way it good.

Holy massive!

Now that is excellent scale and texturing!

Thank you for making such a lovely dessert scene! There are not many of those, but they all look so amazing!

Great use of terrains. I have seen some clever "sideways terrains" before but this one, although simple - has been pulled off very well. I like how gradual the shadows are too, you can tell there would be instant releif once they get under there :phew:

HA ha ha you got me :).. This is sideway terrain of course. Been trying a whole week to create a displacement material that could produce the similar kind of cliffs-rocks effect with not much luck. This scene was originaly planned for pandora environment I´am working on but i deceided to go another way. Btw what are your thoughts about concept of winter pandora scene. Pandoras north pole with floating mountains covered with snow ice, big conifers and big big hanging ice cycles.:)

I was wondering if Pandora would ever see snow on any part of the surface, it looks all-tropical but the polar regions are bound to have brief bouts of snow, even if only on some Winters :plotting:

The tree choices would definitely need to be more conifer-like, or even something really bizarre and alien that looks like it could tolerate the cold weather too :snowing: Icicles could be made with "spiky" terrains too
